Fall

By: Elizabeth, Mrs. Reid's 3rd Grade Class
There are four seasons in a year.  I am going to tell you about fall.  There is colder weather, many holidays, and sports.  At festivals there are roller coasters like the merry-go-round!  There is also funnel cake that you can get with apples, sugar, and normal funnel cake!  There are haunted houses that are sometimes really scary.  We do trunk-or-treat during festivals.  There are hayrides.  A hayride is when you ride on a cart and someone drives you around on a trail and you watch things come to life.  Pumpkin patches are when you go to a farm and you get to pick out a pumpkin to curve.
In fall the weather is really cold, and it rains a lot to.  The trees die too because it is to cold to grow.  The grass dies too because it is to wet.  It is also harvesting season so we can get Pumpkins.  It gets darker earlier!
There is a lot of food eaten in the fall like turkey for Thanksgiving and candy for Halloween.  I heard that there is more food on Halloween we have chocolate, hard candy, and peanut butter.  Yum!  On Thanksgiving there is turkey, apple pie, ham, cranberries, pumpkin pie, and mashed potatoes.  The holidays in fall are Thanksgiving, at Thanksgiving you get to thank people and eat turkey.  At Halloween you get chocolate and you get to go door to door and say trick-or-treat!  Thank you for reading my fall paper.
